Aragon Government and Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon

The Industry, Trade and Tourism department of Aragon Government has developed, since 2003, several initiatives related with the hydrogen technology through renewable energies development in Aragon, especially in renewable hydrogen production.

Since the regional Government adopted at April 30th 2003 the decision of taking part, as founding member, of the “Foundation for the New Technologies development in Aragon”, is acting resolutely in order to consolidate and boost the Foundation as a tool for the promotion of the new hydrogen technologies development, the renewable technologies and the incorporation of Aragon to the economic activities related with the use of hydrogen as energy carrier. It also supports big R+D hydrogen demonstration projects in two areas: hydrogen generation from renewable energies and hydrogen and fuel cell introduction in transport and stationary use.
